High level of data security owing to the implementation of Card Lifecycle Management System
We have completed the implementation of Card Lifecycle Management System for one of our customers in the banking sector. 
The System of Managing the Lifecycle of Intellingent Cards such as ActivIdentity ActivID Card Management Sustem enables its users to manage microprocessor cards used by our Customer. These cards are designated to generate and store certificates which enable the users to log to the workstations and the Windows domain, encode documents, sign documents and files and log to the applications indicated by the Bank.


The system implementation is based on two network cryptographic modules NetHSM which consist of:
  • Card Management Server which provides a possibility of issuing new cards and replacing cards in case of damaging, stealing or losing the employee’s card.
  • Hardware Security Module which stores the keys securing the access to the cards.

The implementation of Card Lifecycle Management System has enabled our Customer to:
  • raise the data security level owing to the 2-stage verification procedure (card + PIN),
  • eliminate the problems related to the necessity of changing the password regularly,
  • use cryptographical securitues for emails or data saved on the discs on the basis of certificates saved on the card (they cannot be decoded without using a card).
